As a powerfully creative individual, you have two incredible tools that form the foundation of your creative power. Whether you’re aware of it or not, you’re already using one of these tools to create everything you currently experience in your life - good and bad alike.

Begin using these two tools together, and you’ll harness a creative force within you to manifest your heart’s desire. Before you can do that, however, you’ll need to use the 4 magic words I’ll share with you in a moment. First, let’s talk about the powerful tools to which I’m referring.

The tools are attention and intention.

Attention is defined as: “Concentration of the mental powers upon an object.”

You use attention any time you concentrate your thoughts upon something, whether it’s an object or just another thought.

A simple law of the universe says wherever you focus your attention, you also focus your creative energy. In other words, what you think about, you create in your experience.

The second tool, intention, is defined as: “An aim that guides action.”

Intention is the aim, the object or the reality you want to bring into your experience.

Intention is “the object of your desires.”

When you focus your *attention* on what you want and make it your *intention* to create it, you take hold of a creative force that can literally move mountains.

Alexander Graham Bell spoke of this force when he stated the following:

“What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.”

The 4 magic words that position you to use this creative force is your own life are…

“What do I want?”

Sounds simple, right? It is. But it’s not always easy to know what you want.

Further, when you do actually decide what you want, you face the challenge of asking for and receiving it.

Even further, you’ve faced those times when you actually got what you wanted, only to discover it wasn’t as great as you expected.

You end up just accepting and tolerating whatever life throws you, whether in the form of your career, your mate, your income, your living environment, etc.

Then, of course, in our state of “tolerating life,” the more we focus upon what we don’t want, the more of it we experience.

In the words of fitness guru Susan Powter…

“Stop the insanity!”

“What do I want?” Begin using these 4 words each day. As Stephen Covey says, “write it down, asterisk it, underline it.” If you ask it, the answers will come. Keep asking until the answers do come.

See, you will always get something, even if it’s only more of the same. My good friend and fellow Coach, Bryden Manning talks about “Christmas morning relationships.”

As a child, when you awoke Christmas morning, you knew you’d have stuff under the tree. But if you didn’t make a list of what you wanted, there’s no telling what you’d get.

It works the same with every area of your life. Every day is Christmas morning. You’ll always get something. Have you made your list yet?

“What do I want?” Just say it outloud with me.

“What…do…I…want?”

If you have a hard time with this question, consider taking a class or work with a coach. It’s too important a question to ignore any longer. It’s your life, after all.

Start today. Say it…”what do I want?”

To the extent you get clear on the answer to this question, to that same extent can you focus your attention on it and make it your intention to create it.

I’ll leave you with the simple and direct words of Walt Whitman, who said “claim your own at any hazard.”

It’s your life! Make it great.

F1 motorsport is if truth behold the top of karting. It is the professional formation of the sport in full. Formula One is global phenomenon, a media corporation that receives millions and millions of $ annually from advertising, funding, and broadcast income sources. Qualified drivers with a millionaire life style race these gorgeous motor cars that are supreme with hi-tech features - everything from very hard to create lightweight frames that slide the mechanism to tires with unrivalled grooving style that exemplify the tremendous power on the circuit.

There is absolutely no sport that best epitomizes the meaning “worldwide sport” like Formula One motor sport. Particular countries serve as active members in developing the Formula One racing road show - Malaysia for example, is a hot spot for Formula 1 racing (Fernando Alonso, a Spanish-born Formula 1 driver under Team Renault recently won a Formula One race there) and Italy plays a fundamental role in designing and manufacturing first class, top-of-the-line vehicles. Rivalry is usual in Formula 1 - giving an edge of anticipation with each and every zip of the bend & nitrous boost of the machine. Find great offers on gym equipment.

F1 motor cars can be summed up in two words: technological miracle. These smooth, low riding gems completing laps at speeds around one hundred & sixty mph consist of nothing more than merely a body, an engine, & four wheels. For starters, the engine is positioned behind the cockpit as opposed to road cars. Keep up to date with all the latest Formula One Drivers Bios Past and Present.

Everybody should be able to protect themselves from psychic intrusions. In fact it should be taught in grade school right next to arithmetic and spelling. I can just see it now, “Mrs. Johansen, Billy keeps thinking at me!”

“Just shield as I taught you deary…”

It isn’t though, it won’t be for some time. It makes my life harder too. In fact a large percentage of the mental and emotional problems I encounter are directly related to psychic intrusions into unshielded minds. True, as a psychic healer and researcher I see more than my share of people with innate psychic talent, but it still is a large problem in our society.

Because so few know how to protect themselves from outside mental and emotional influence we are seeing a rise in depression and anger management problems. How can a person stay sane and well balanced all the time when they can’t tell if a thought is there own or someone elses? Because so very few people realize they are doing it, many are walking around projecting their troubles to the world around them, making it even harder for the unshielded sensitives in their lives. This lack of training in both ways creates problems.

It often happens though, that those with empathic inclinations come to see me in such a worked up state of mind, that they could not shield themselves properly, even if they knew how. When trying to help someone in such a position it is important to know how to generate external shielding.

The basic process of shielding someone else is not really all that difficult on its face. You are establishing shields, much as you do for yourself, but around another person. The difficulty lies in the little details of course. Because of some small influences we have to make corrections in external shields that we make on a subconscious level when generating our own.

Even when under tight shields, we normally, instinctually leave certain avenues of information open. On a subconscious level we leave ourselves with the ability to pass through our own shielding psychiclly, to gather information about possible threats and simple information about the emotional states of loved ones.
When we place shields around other people we have to make sure that we do not totally isolate them from the world by emplacing uncomfortably opaque guards around them. We also have to make sure that we do not foster dependency. It is often such a relief to an empathicaly sensitive person to finally get a bit of mental peace that they often feel they cannot live without help. This is not true for the most part, they should be coached in creating their own shields, external help being only a stopgap measure. In general, you should never shield a person for more than six weeks, the length of time it will take for them to get out of the habit of using what shielding skills they had developed on their own.

Other things can be done with well developed shields as well. You can place shields around specific people, places that they frequent or even their automobiles. You can also select very specific information that will be allowed to pass through any of these fields. By selecting the data that can pass through, you are in effect, creating a filter for psychic information, when all other pieces of psychic information are quiet, it is far easier to pay attention to and understand what remains. So much so, that I highly recommend that you use such filters when you know that you are going to need only specific classes of data.

These steps are somewhat fluid and have room for alteration, so it will pay to experiment with them as you practice. Different forms of shielding will be right for different people. Make sure you have a good feeling for what is needed and be willing to mend any mistakes you might have made. Shielding is so benign in nature that you can freely try new things without fear of harming yourself or others, so have fun with it!

*Prepare yourself with a bit of meditation before starting. The deeper your brainwave state, the more effective you will be.

*Gain a sense for the person, place or thing you are shielding. You will want to keep this contact the entire time you are working, so that you can make certain that you are leaving enough psychic space for them to work with comfortably.

*To establish a shield, use conceptual thought processes, think in ideas that is, define the space you wish to cover, solidify the outer membrane of the field to keep unwanted information out and define what information to exclude.

That’s all it takes. While I am giving suggestions for disciplined techniques, it really amounts to knowing what you want to happen and giving it time to happen.

*Hold this field stable until it takes little thought or will to maintain.

*Now that the field is organized, you can make it self-sustaining by holding the concept as you focus on the organized field. Hold for around fifteen minutes.

This will give you a good solid shield that will help the person without mentally choking them. If well organized it should last for around a week.

You can organize shields that will keep out any given information of an empathic, telepathic or psychic nature. By spending more time on the field and making it self-propagating you can even defend against psychokinetic tampering and psychic information gathering techniques that might slip past lesser shielding.

No one disputes the now common view that the main crime committed in aborting a pregnancy - is a crime against potentialities. If so, what is the philosophical difference between aborting a fetus and destroying a sperm and an egg? These two contain all the information (=all the potential) and their destruction is philosophically no less grave than the destruction of a fetus. The destruction of an egg and a sperm is even more serious philosophically: the creation of a fetus limits the set of all potentials embedded in the genetic material to the one fetus created. The egg and sperm can be compared to the famous wave function (state vector) in quantum mechanics - the represent millions of potential final states (=millions of potential embryos and lives). The fetus is the collapse of the wave function: it represents a much more limited set of potentials. If killing an embryo is murder because of the elimination of potentials - how should we consider the intentional elimination of many more potentials through masturbation and contraception?

The argument that it is difficult to say which sperm cell will impregnate the egg is not serious. Biologically, it does not matter - they all carry the same genetic content. Moreover, would this counter-argument still hold if, in future, we were be able to identify the chosen one and eliminate only it? In many religions (Catholicism) contraception is murder. In Judaism, masturbation is “the corruption of the seed” and such a serious offence that it is punishable by the strongest religious penalty: eternal ex-communication (”Karet”).

If abortion is indeed murder how should we resolve the following moral dilemmas and questions (some of them patently absurd):

Is a natural abortion the equivalent of manslaughter (through negligence)?

Do habits like smoking, drug addiction, vegetarianism - infringe upon the right to life of the embryo? Do they constitute a violation of the contract?

Reductio ad absurdum: if, in the far future, research will unequivocally prove that listening to a certain kind of music or entertaining certain thoughts seriously hampers the embryonic development - should we apply censorship to the Mother?

Should force majeure clauses be introduced to the Mother-Embryo pregnancy contract? Will they give the mother the right to cancel the contract? Will the embryo have a right to terminate the contract? Should the asymmetry persist: the Mother will have no right to terminate - but the embryo will, or vice versa?

Being a rights holder, can the embryo (=the State) litigate against his Mother or Third Parties (the doctor that aborted him, someone who hit his mother and brought about a natural abortion) even after he died?

Should anyone who knows about an abortion be considered an accomplice to murder?

If abortion is murder - why punish it so mildly? Why is there a debate regarding this question? “Thou shalt not kill” is a natural law, it appears in virtually every legal system. It is easily and immediately identifiable. The fact that abortion does not “enjoy” the same legal and moral treatment says a lot.

As children, you rode in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat. You drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. You shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this. You’d leave home in the morning and play all day, walk to school, as long as you were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach you all day. And you were OK. Besides Mom was always back home. You only had one car.

You’re a Boomer and now you’re turning 60. You’re going to be experiencing your second Saturn Return.

Baby Boomers are turning sixty! So much to think about. So much still to learn. Yours is the generation that was conceived to heal the war weary, wounded, bereft and traumatized. Your conception after the death of over 40,000,000 soldiers in World War II symbolized a rebirth of hope in humankind. Life goes on.

Some of you were born into families in countries that were victorious to fathers who were heroes. Other were born to men dealing with the bitterness and humiliation of defeat and lost personal opportunities such as educational years and job advancement. In all countries that participated in the War including the United States, lack of essential goods continued for many years. Your families lived with want and hope as companions.

Conceived at the same time as you, the countries of India and Pakistan (founded August 15, 1947 with Saturn at 13 degrees Leo) and Israel (founded May 14, 1948 with Saturn at 16 Leo) made as controversial appearances on the world scene as could possibly be imagined, all three fighting for their lives from the moment of birth. Civil unrest broke out immediately between East and West Pakistan. Hundreds of thousands were killed. A year later, India and Pakistan warred over Kashmir. Within 24 hours of Israel’s birth, it was attacked by the combined armies of its Arab neighbors, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.

The war cry of the Baby Boomer could be, “Fight for your life!” This is because Saturn was conjunct Pluto during these years. This was the beginning of a new world order commenced when the two planets were partile on August 3, 1947, just days before the founding of India and Pakistan.

These three countries are celebrating their second Saturn Returns along with Boomers. At their first Returns around 1975, Israel and the Arabs were again at war - the Yom Kippur War. In India, Indira Ghandi declared a state of emergency after being found guilty of electoral malpractice. Nearly 1,000 political opponents were imprisoned and a program of compulsory birth control was introduced.

In Pakistan, riots erupted over allegations of vote-rigging by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). General Zia ul-Haq staged a military coup and a year later, Zia was proclaimed president. Bhutto was hanged.

The Defense Department and the CIA were created in 1946. South Korea was founded (August 15, 1948 Saturn at 28 degrees of Leo). At South Korea’s first Saturn Return, General Park Chung-hee, who assumed power in 1961 through a military coup, was assassinated. General Chun Doo-hwan assumed power. The following year, martial law was declared. In the city of Kwangju at least 200 were killed by the army, causing resentment that has yet to fade. The fifth republic and new constitution resulted.

At this point you might be wondering, “What happened to me at my first Saturn Return?” Answering this question can help predict what will happen at your second Return. Please refer back to 1975-79, when you were 28-30 years old. This can help you make sense of things in the overall game plan of life.

Many Boomers began new careers, divorced or married for the first time between the ages of 28-30.

Karen Lafferty (the names are changed, the stories are true) describes it this way: “Thirty years ago in 1975, I had moved across the country, taken up residence with a nice man, and had entered college. In 1976 or 77, I did the old est Training and afterwards approached my dad about creating our relationship all over again and he agreed. I also discovered that one of my daughters had … a genetic condition…. My other daughter had decided to live with her father. So things were going on. I think I faired well through all of this and did quite a bit of maturing. It was the 70s and I was exploring all my boundaries, my intellect, my mothering skills, and testing pretty much whatever waters I could. I had no idea what I wanted as a profession and I floundered around.

Karen hasn’t experienced her second SR yet but wishes to: “… rid myself of the vestiges of emotional c— that my father put on me. The things he pounded into me: I’m dumb. I’m not good enough. I’m ugly. I can never have what I want or be what I want. I will cause suffering to the people who are closest to me. I’m being punished just for being here. I don’t deserve to be alive. I should have died instead of my brother….Just a real load of garbage that intellectually doesn’t make sense, but some of which I still feel. I’ve worked through the worst of it, but there are still some hangers on, like I’m not good enough.

Monica Short says, “I hated my father and I remember it was especially so around 1958 to about 1974 or 75…. When I got married in 1975, it seems our relationship became softer, and after my parents moved back to Xxx in 1976, we became almost friends. I still never was able to discuss my real feelings or beliefs, or talk to him about world issues, but we were able to laugh about things. I must say he taught me a lot about electricity, about cars, about how things work, and I miss him for that. … I also think he would have loved computers and what they do.” Monica’s sister also married that year and they began to have a better relationship. Monica is currently making a transition from management to creative writing and is pursuing a bisexual lifestyle.

Boomer Leon Tuttle explains, “My father and I had quite a problem when I was growing up. Teenage rebellion as I recall it. I did however, tell him that I hated him and he still continues to bring it up. I explained to him that I didn’t hate him but didn’t like the way he treated me…. In 1975 my wife gave birth to our daughter. She [had] promised to raise our children as Catholics, but when our daughter was born she took her to [a Protestant] church to have her baptized and never bothered to consult with me or to invite my relatives. This broke a promise to my father who did not want me to marry outside the church….” Leon divorced his wife. At that same time, the company he worked for burned to the ground. Leon was not allowed to see his daughter. He never had enough money to go back through the courts. He feels his life was ruined. Leon mentions several career things he would like to happen at his second Return. He is an inventor. He says, “Hope springs eternal. Perhaps the last years of my life will bring to fruition some of my dreams?”

Rory Peters was in a bad marriage and because of that she had an abortion at her first SR. She stayed in the marriage another 20 years. At her second SR she’s “overworked, underpaid and not respected” in the cosmetics field and is “currently in a relationship with a gentleman 16 years [her] junior. “He has lived with me for 4 years,” she says, “and has paid nothing for his upkeep. I’m nothing more than a mother maybe less to him. I am so in need of clear direction for my crazy life.”

Latonya Xandra lost both parents at her first SR, divorced, began a new career and started on her spiritual path. As a single parent, she had little time to date and was scarred by childhood incest issues with her father. At her second SR she reconnected with a man she met at 30 who had always loved her. She was able to work through her sexual issues with him and their relationship has been very healing. She feels it is her reward for working on her Saturn issues. Saturn is in her 8th house of sexuality, trust and bonded relations.

As you can see, often Saturn in Leo has issues with the father. Karen Lafferty and Monica Short tried to heal relationships with their fathers, something that still troubles Monica at her second Return. Leon Tuttle’s father and ex-wife made his life a living hell. Latonya Xandra’s father had an incestuous relationship with her which she has tried to heal.

Some famous Boomers are also preparing to experience their second Saturn Returns. Camilla Parker Bowles married Prince Charles during her second Return. At his first Saturn Return, Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared in the documentary Pumping Iron which made him famous. He also met and married Maria Shriver. Near his second Return Schwarzenegger’s future as Governor of California is uncertain as he sinks lower in the polls. Laura Bush married George Dubya during her first SR. Steven Spielberg produced Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

One of my favorite actors, Jeremy Irons married his second wife, Sinead Cusack. Mikhail Baryshnikov, who defected to America in 1974, switched to the New York Ballet at his SR to work with George Ballachine. Perhaps Andrew Lloyd Webber will have a reversal of fortunes at his second SR. At his first, he produced the hit Evita. Recently he has had many failures and lost millions.

Whether famous or still waiting to be famous, the task for Boomers at the second Saturn Return is to come to terms with the life they’ve lived. It is best to take life in two segments: From 0 to 30, how did your childhood,
About the Author

Change has become a constant for all of us, and not only do things change, they seem to change more rapidly all the time.

How can you bolster your resilience to change and learn to manage it better? How can you keep “stress” from becoming “strain”? Here are some tips.

1. Label it immediately a “transition.”

You are not lost in space (no longer a mother), nor at the end of the line (retirement), nor is it the end of the world (getting laid off). You are in the space between one thing and another — a transition. You are now going to create the future, and recreate yourself. There is no cause for alarm.

2. Develop your emotional intelligence (EQ) and start now.

This is the proactive way to prepare for all the changes in your life. With EQ, you won’t be reactively dealing with each change as it comes along. You will have accepted change as part of your life, and built the life skills you need to keep “stress” from becoming “strain.”

3. Accept change as a “constant” and build resilience.

Resilience (an EQ competency) means being able to survive loss, rejection, failure and adversity and remain hopeful. The single worst outcome of any change or crisis would be for you to become bitter and cynical.

4. Handle the emotions through the body.

If your body is tense, you will be tense. Get out of this harmful closed feedback loop. As Candace Pert, Ph.D. says, our emotions exist in every cell of our body. Exercise, yes, of course, but also get massages. The benefit to your well-being is widely reported in scientific literature.

5. Get with people who can sing your song when you’ve forgotten it.

We all have hard times; this is just your time. Rely on the people around you who can remind you of what’s constant in your life - the real you, and them, your friends!

6. Work with a certified emotional intelligence coach.

Prepare your SELF for the future changes that will come by proactively developing your EQ. (And EQ is something you can’t “just” read about.) When one thing in your life changes, it affects everything else, and you need more than a Career Coach, a Relationship Coach, or Small Business Coach. You will be dealing with relationships and career and money and emotions and life balance and your business and your kids and your wellness. Work at the meta-level. It’s more efficient and effective.

7. Don’t judge your emotions.

Just let them be. The more you consider it bad to feel sad or mad, the more you’ll fight it, and the more power it will have over you. We all prefer what’s called the “positive” emotions, but there are others. Make them all welcome for their time. They all go away.

8. Don’t worry.

Worrying accomplishes nothing positive, and can have very detrimental affects. You’re already under stress, and when you worry, you can turn it into strain. Worrying stresses you physiologically and adds to the problem.

9. Work with an EQ coach who has mastered change.

In light of the fact that resilience must be acquired, you might interview a potential coach to see what major crises and changes he or she has mastered. The “untested” can only talk theoretically, and you’ll hear the difference, and you’ll be living the difference.

10. Learn optimism.

EQ coaches teach the competency called “optimism.” The level of your optimism matters in crises (and all the time). Scientific literature supports that optimistic people are more likely to reach their potential, handle crises better, recover better from major illnesses, live 19% longer - and undoubtedly enjoy living more. Get with it!

11. Last but not least, if you’re going through a major change, prepare to be a stronger person when it’s over - IF you have developed your resilience.
“Adversity is another way to measure the greatness of individuals,” said Lou Holtz, American football coach. “I never had a crisis that didn’t make me stronger.”

This personal growth and triumph is the optimal result of going through change, but we all know people who cratered under strain. Develop your EQ and your crises can make you stronger, not weaker.

©Susan Dunn, MA, Emotional Intelligence Coach, http://www.susandunn.cc . I teach individuals to master change and transform their lives through the power of emotional intelligence.
