There Are Many Types Of Bugging Devices

Bugging devices come in many different kinds, sizes and price ranges. Eaves dropping devices are one of the most popular surveillance tools. Bugging devices are critical to find out information about someone’s activities plans and or location. These devices are used by many different law enforcement agencies.

Bugging devices are basically microphones that instead of projecting the voice out of speakers, it changes the location coming out of a speaker to a different location. Listening in on someone conversation can give investigators the leads that they need to solve a crime or stop a crime from happening.

Digital Recorders are terrific bugging devices that are planted into a phone line to record conversations or can be hidden somewhere to record the conversation in the room. When someone is unsuspecting of a bug they will say things that they do not want people to know. This unknowing admission can lead to trouble for the person that admitted it.

Bugging devices are small enough to be undetectable by someone not aware. Law enforcement uses many other tools besides bugging devices but recording devices may be the most crucial. These devices along with many other products to get the job done or solve the case are available at spyassociates.com.

How to Know if Your Yard is the Tacky One on Your Street

We’ve all seen it, we’ve all pointed at it and we’ve pretty much all lived beside it. The yard with tacky written all over it. What makes a house look like it is from What Not to Wear. Bottom line is it’s you and your taste and love of dollar store trivialities. Or, it’s your friends and family and your weak-willed nature that fills your front yard with the abominable, plastic doodads. Well, stop it! Trade your crooked, bent-over, gardener’s spine for a straight sunflower backbone.

Here’s how to tell if your yard is part of the tacky tourist tour in your city:

•You have a barrel spilling purple petunias (and the odd weed), surrounded by a medium-sized rock and a round dug-out area.

•You have white, quartz pebbles in any part of your garden and especially beside the driveway in rectilinear rows of what resembles poodle-droppings.

•You leave-up and plug-in your multicolored Christmas lights all year round.

•You have a ceramic goose and you dress it up for all holidays including your dog’s birthday.

•You buy inflatables, of any variety…even at Christmas, they are not cool and if you have more than one be prepared for midnight pin-attacks…to watch it die slowly.

•Too many colors in your planting arrangement. Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue…I can see a rainbow, see a rainbow, see a rainbow too. Enough said.

•Even worse then that??? Fake flowers. So, you have a black thumb or you’re just lazy…let it go. Put some grass seed down instead. Fake flowers can melt in the sun, be covered with cat urine and they fade PDQ.

•If you buy the following plants you are borderline (mind the pun) tacky: marigolds, petunias and begonias. These plants are wayyyy out of fashion (unless you grow marigolds in your herb gardens to put on salads). C’mon, really, get with the times and accept change. Go wild, throw in the odd Japanese Anemone or ornamental grass or really go crazy and throw in a gigantic allium that is bigger than your kid’s head.

•Garden sculptures and garden ornaments are all about the usage. So, you like garden gnomes. Garden gnomes are great, but moderation is the key. Or, if you’re overly excited about the seven-million dwarfs, at bare minimum, keep them against the perimeter fence and out of the direct view of your neighbors windows. If you have them on your front lawn, whistling while they work, and NONE go missing by the end of the season, you know a) that no one wants the monstrosities and b) there are no such things as dwarfs or gnomes that come to life at night (or fairies for that matter).

•Plastic…anything plastic (not resin that looks like concrete) is a huge no, no! Think, would you put that in your house (well, you probably would if you have any of these yard and garden features listed)? If you wouldn’t, than think about this…your neighbors get a first impression of the interior of your home, by looking at the exterior. Also, your garden should be an extension of your home, like a room of its own.

•House Butterflies. Ok, they were cute in the late 70’s. You know what? No, they weren’t even cute then. I bet some people have not bought a house that was up for sale because of the orange, metal monarch butterflies bolted to the side of the house instead of blissfully on their way to the mountains of Mexico.

•A car on blocks looks, well, quite frankly abysmal.

•Grass. Cut the stuff. If its soooo long you get bikini rash and wild animals come for dinner then you know it’s too long.

•Flags. One or two decorative flags are nice, provided you don’t have any of the other stuff listed here, but more than that and oh my.

If you are reading this, chances are you have some style and pizzazz which follows through to a stylish garden. Therefore, there is that person on your street that has many of these items. My advice to you: walk by and note the number of the house, print off this article and mail it anonymously. Feel free to add your own notation about that one thing that drives you crazy…sit back and watch the bonfire.

Harry Potter and the Gargantuan Page Turner

Three frustratingly long years after the publication of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, J.K. Rowling’s legions of fans were rewarded for their patience with the release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - launched simultaneously in Britain, the USA, Canada, Australia and in other English-speaking countries at one minute past midnight on 21st June 2003.

This fifth book in Rowling’s incredibly successful wizarding series is a challenging 766 pages long, containing over 255,000 words and weighing in at 2.8lb (1.3kg). In Britain alone, it sold 1.8 million copies in the immediate hours following its release - a Nielsen Book Scan estimate revealed that one person in every 28 possessed The Order of the Phoenix. In the US, five million copies were sold during the same period. There can be little doubt that Harry Potter is a global literary phenomenon.

Trivia aside, Potter is no longer the awkward 11-year-old boy wizard that readers were introduced to in the first book. Phoenix sees the tangle-haired Harry in his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is now an angry adolescent, a survivor of various hair-raising escapades who often finds it difficult to control his emotions. He frequently finds himself “consumed with anger and frustration, grinding his teeth and clenching his fists”, and occasionally takes his “growling resentment” out on his best friends Ron and Hermione.

Phoenix is an enormously harrowing adventure for Harry and definitely not ideal bedtime reading material for the squeamish or fainthearted. He is attacked by dementors, threatened with expulsion from Hogwart’s, banned from playing Quidditch, discredited among much of the magical population, haunted by dreams, visions and stories of his dead parents, accused of being a liar by the atrocious Dolores Umbridge, forced to endure the loss of a dear friend - and all this before his destiny is finally revealed to him by Dumbledore, who sits Potter down in his office and tells him “everything”.

The book is considerably darker than the first four novels as Voldemort begins to spread his evil influence, opposed at each stage by the Order of the Phoenix, a protective circle of benevolent witches and wizards.

Once again, serious issues such as slavery and racism are touched upon in subplots such as Hermione Granger’s quest to liberate the long-suffering House Elves and in Malfoy’s fascistic hatred of “mud bloods” and “filthy half-breeds”. Rowling’s books reflect rather than condone prejudice and Harry continues to take people at face value. Indeed, in their steadfast determination to shield the weak against the evil forces of Voldermort, characters like Professor Dumbledore quite clearly advocate open-mindedness and empiricism at great personal cost to themselves.

Unsurprisingly, Phoenix, like earlier books in the series, has been subject to intense political and moral analysis. Since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (the Sorceror’s Stone in the US), first took the American reading-public by storm in 1997, there have been vicious attacks by Christian fundamentalists who believe the series is cultivating a generation of “evil-doers”. Indeed, the more extreme of these groups have accused Rowling of deliberately “spreading witchcraft”. After the release of book four, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported that a New Mexico town had actually held a book burning, and the People Magazine informed its readers that parents across the country were seeking to ban the book from their children’s school libraries. Mercifully, the vast majority of American families have taken Harry to their hearts and Phoenix has broken all US sales records, outselling even the biography of former first lady, Hillary Clinton.

In a far more agnostically inclined Britain, critics have tended to complain that Potter and his palls are a tad too “Middle-England” for their liking. However, I can only surmise that there must be a distinct lack of humour amongst present-day literary commentators because Rowling is quite obviously being ironic when she writes of the curtain-twitching residents of Privet Drive and the Minister of Magic in his pinstriped robes.

The Order of the Phoenix is by far the most sophisticated and mature book of the series so far; it is also a more confident work than its predecessors. Although the earlier books were far more comedy-driven, there are still many hilarious scenes in Phoenix that will amuse children and adults alike. The narrative moves at a cracking pace as Harry struggles to convince the wizard world that Voldemort has returned, and the book’s prodigious size allows Rowling to weave in serious themes.

With two books to go, it remains to be seen which direction Rowling’s storytelling will take, but it seems likely that the link between Harry and Voldemort will lead to ever more elaborate plot-twists and sensational revelations. In the meantime, Pottermania will continue to inspire children across the globe to read - a truly magical achievement in itself.

Guide To Buy Jewelry Online

According to Goldman Sachs, Harris Interactive, and Nielsen/NetRatings, Christmas online jewelry sales more than doubled, hitting a new record of $1.89 billion, up from $888 million last year. The jewelry sector becomes the highest riser in today’s booming online shipping. If you type “jewelry” or “diamond rings” on Google, a few hundred of jewelry retail websites comes out. To do research online before purchasing is very important.

Three things consumers look for are quality, price and customer service. Good websites always states everything clearly. Blue Nile clearly states out the color, clarity, numbers of diamonds, total diamond weight, setting type, metal, and width in their diamond ring pages. There are websites stating their diamond color is F/H and clarity is VVS/VS. F color, VVS1 clarity stones are very different and much more expensive than H color and VS2 stones. How can consumers be clear with the quality they are getting?

We can see that most websites have good returning policy, and the big ones offer up to 30 days returning policy. This is the most important service for online jewelry stores. Good returning policy shows the website confident with their quality and service. It covers a lot of potential risk of online jewelry shopping. Mondera, Ice and Diamond.com all provide very good customer service. Unless you are very confident and familiar with the jewelry website, purchasing from any one with poor returning policy is risky.

One of the major reasons consumers purchase jewelries online, especially high end diamond pieces, is because of the price. With sufficient amount of research, you truly can purchase some high quality jewelries at 30%-60% off the retail market price. We should first understand these jewelry websites’ business model. Many of the sites are run by previous retail jewelers. They have many years’ experience and connections in the industry. They memo jewelry pieces and diamonds from wholesale vendors in New York or Los Angeles, add a margin and resell them out. Some jewelry sites are run by students fresh out of college. They create great websites, and get their vendors drop shipping directly to their consumers. Because they don’t have to pay high rent in expensive location, they don’t have the same high mark up as local jewelry stores. They highly threaten traditional jewelry stores, and with financial experts’ prediction, 1/3 of the traditional jewelry stores will either disappear or go on line in the next 5 years. Recently, I have found few companies take it to a new step. Like Dell, they manufacture jewelries and sell them directly through their website. Their prices are surprisingly low. http://www.nicerings.com is one of them. For the same high quality diamond jewelry pieces, their prices are almost 1/3 of the retail market price and of other jewelry website’s price. With 30 days return guarantee and Free FedEx overnight, their existence speeds up the existing competitive jewelry industry. It is not surprising if we are going to see more and more jewelry wholesalers and manufacturers coming online in the next few years.

Jewelry educational and price comparison sites are very helpful for online jewelry shoppers. Out of them, http://www.pricescope.com offers a very profound education about diamonds; and you can find very good answers to your jewelry questions in their forums.

How To Cure A Golf Hook

If you’ve been battling a hook for a while you understand how frustrating they can be. Everyone else is, more than likely, slicing the ball, and you are playing from the opposite side of the fairway.

But… the hook really is pretty easy to cure. Try this sequence of corrections, and most likely the hook will be fixed in no time. Your goal in correcting a hook is to swing from outside to in.

1) Weaken your Grip - You could be playing with a grip that is too strong. You’ll want to simply rotate both hands around the grip and towards the target. This will make it much harder for the clubface to naturally close through the impact zone. Don’t over do it, and like everything else, testing is crucial. Make sure to test this, before moving on, unless you are positive that you already play with a weak grip.

2) Move the ball forward in your stance - It is common of players that slice the ball to play the ball forward in their stance. So copy them. If you hook, the result should be a relatively straight ball. (Side Note: Whether you hook or slice, your first goal should be to learn to do the opposite.) Moving the ball forward in your stance should get some things back on track.

3) Aim to the left (to the right if left handed) of the target - Start out with an open stance to the target. This will put that clockwise rotation on the ball that you are looking for. Just open your stance a little bit, and swing along the line of your shoulders.

4) Make sure that you are finishing with your weight on your forward foot - This is the single best solution for the hook. If you hook the ball, chances are that you finish with some of your weight still on your back foot. This causes you to come around the ball with a closed clubface. This is the number one cause of the deadly snap-hook. Finish with all of your weight forward, and you’ll never experience it.

Weather Working with Clouds

Working with clouds is a great way to start developing your weather working and psychic abilities. Here’s a simple way to work with them:

1. Choose a day that has scattered, puffy clouds for this exercise. Get into a comfortable position (either sitting or laying down) where you can easily see the clouds.

2. Choose a particular cloud to work with. Decide what you will do with your cloud. You can split the cloud in half, shape it to look like an animal, extend one end of the cloud or make the cloud taller. Whatever you choose, keep it simple.

**For instance, you may choose a cloud that already looks like a duck, but a duck with a short tail. Choose to extend the duck’s tail until it looks proportional to the rest of the body.

3. Shape the cloud using your thoughts and intention. See the cloud as you want it to be. Super-impose that image over the actual cloud. You can also talk to the cloud or use your hands to shape the cloud. While you obviously can’t touch the cloud with your hands, clouds are sensitive to force of movement in your hands.

4. Clouds are very reactive and easy to shape, but sometimes slow to move. If you work with your cloud for 1-2 minutes but very little seems to be happening, take a break for a few minutes then look at your cloud again. You’ll probably see that the cloud has moved in the direction you pushed it - it just took a while to get there.

As with all these kinds of exercises, don’t judge the result. Just keep practicing. Before long you’ll be delighted with what you can do!
